I don't like that question. I personally stopped setting goals years ago because I decided I was already doing my best. Yes, there are always things that we would like to do or change but I really believe that if we want to do these things, we will make and find time for them.
We are only human. There is only a finite amount of time in any one day.
Think of it like a see-saw - we try to cram more into our days and we get sick, run down and our brains get overloaded. If we do less, our bodies have time to breathe and our minds have time to be creative. The trick is to find that sweet-spot in the middle.
So, going back to the question - A New You? Of course. Because everything that you did yesterday, and all the days before that, make you a different person today. All the things someone else did yesterday, and all the days before that, make them a different person today.
As we move into this New Year, try not to let your past thoughts and judgements you may have about somebody continue. We are all constantly evolving.
